Pure détente

Photo Diary

Acres and acres of green... as far as the eye could see
Decided to capture the essence of nature after a heavy rainfall

Beautiful 982 year old ship (I kid). Just an ancient looking one.

Hello Tart Deco toesies! In my super comfortableWilfred harem pants, random sandals from LA and MK side purse saying good bye to the beautiful island of Nantucket.

Thanks for the lifetime full of memories (falling on a motorcycle and even almost crashing into a parked car - please do not *insert your typical asian stereotype here* I promise I'm far from that behind the wheels, having a random British oldie help us - yet he was clearly clueless, eating fantastically fresh sushi in a restaurant where I could not even move an inch - seize the size ladies and gents! Exploring the grand lighthouse, strolling around cottage houses, almost falling into the waves at Sconset Beach, climbing a enormous lifeguarding chair and struggling to get back down that I almost fell 180 on my backside... did I mention it was really hard to get back down? Late night girl talks, amazingly refreshing wine sippin', the sharply dressed whities who looked like they manage their self-presentation, seriously. Almost too serious to take a second look at us - damn you snobby men! Collecting rocks by the cottage to bring back home, and etc.. etc)

Nantucket: wonderful cottage-feeling scenery where we shared endless laughs with beautiful people (shamelessly blaming the countless glasses of wine we had)! And thus, we were en route via ferry then via Coach bus back to the big apple. We were extremely excited to get back to the city! To end off our trip, we spent the next few days scourging around parts of the city and made a day trip to Woodbury (where we practically drilled holes into our wallets - shame) to purchase gifts for the loved ones and of course we gotta spoil our selves a little bit!

You wait, I wait, casting shadows

Day 1: New York City

I nearly fainted when I went into Topshop. Everything was just so beautiful including the cream blazer I bought!

Little dreams

Received this cute Fuji-film polaroid camera as a gift but I have yet to take the time to figure out how to use it properly. Just last week I made an attempt to try to use it with my best friends at our pre-party before our CASS event for charity. I literally ripped apart the film wrap in a couple of seconds anxiously wanting a polaroid picture with them. Fairly disappointed in myself  haha.
In the last couple of months, I've been a sucker for anything neutral or pastel. Be it nail polishes (I'm always trying to look for the perfect "nude" colour or rosy pinks... haha), cardigans, tops, blouses, etc. Purchased this Talula Babaton silk blouse from Artizia and paired it with a pair of faux leather leggings by Wilfred with pearl earrings, tiffany and co heart pendant neckalace and pearl bracelets for a unexpected gathering with lovers and friends at my house on NYE.
My ridiculously warm earmuffs I purchased recently.
Audrey Hepburn... fave.

I love reading this book because there are so many inspirational and interesting things to read that keep me wanting to read more. Seriously, this is an amazing book (not to mention hilarious). Definitely deserved to be a bestseller. Go Blasberg.

MiuMiu purse momma purchased from Hong Kong.

I'm so happy to be finally posting something. I've truly missed blogging but I've been so busy in the last month with school and family. Most of my time was consumed by taking care of my younger siblings since my parents were away, celebrating birthdays, chores/errands, studying/writing my final exams, spending quality time with family, lovers and friends and all of the festivities in the last month or so. Winter break flew by too quickly as it only lasted for about ten short days. During the break I caught up with friends I haven't seen in a while over skating, shopping, food, dessert and just spending quality time with them. It was amazing while it lasted. Finally my bestfriend convinced me to host a party for NYE for all of our friends last minute (less than two days before NYE haha). All went well and it was so nice to see everyone again but I was not looking forward to going back to school. It was definitely difficult to getting into the habit of waking up in the early hours attending classes for the first week of school. The first weekend back to school, we made an exhausting group trip to Blue Mountain. Beavertails, snowboarding, beer pong, snow, lots of Korean food during our pit stops in Toronto = perfect weekend :).

Lately, I'm still being overly obsessive with Ellie Goulding but not sure how I feel about some sounds of what it seems like to be auto-tuning, correct me if I'm wrong. I also heard some dubstep mixes with her songs recently and I'm in l-o-v-e. Anyway, this week my momma finally came back from overseas. I don't think I've ever been happier to be back in Toronto. Reunited with lots of warm family loving <3.
